CIAO is an active organization of people living on the coast, near the border of North and South Carolina, who like to have fun together and help charities in our community. Although we celebrate Italian heritage in America in many of our activities, we are open to all ethnic groups and in fact, have members from a wide variety of ethnic groups. Our major fund raiser is a golf tournament (see tab at left) whose proceeds go to veterans' causes.

In addition to the items on the calendar, we hold monthly ladies' lunches, often go to concerts and plays together, play bocce on the beach in summer, and have dinner together at local restaurants. We meet, usually on the fourth Sunday of the month, at the Little River SC VFW is located at 111 Highway 57 North, Little River, SC  29566  (For directions to VFW call  (843) 399-0877 ) .
